NJ Food Democracy Collaborative

NJFDC is ready to level up - but we can't do it without the help of our community!

Are you tired of seeing too many people in the Garden State without access to nutritious food?

Are you worried about the loss of farms and the struggle for new farmers to find resources and land?

Do you believe in regenerative agriculture as a solution to the climate crisis?

The New Jersey Food Democracy Collaborative (NJFDC) is here to make a change!

______________________________

The NJFDC is a grassroots food policy council dedicated to improving the health, equity, accessibility, resilience, and efficiency of New Jersey communities through food policy and local food policy councils.

Since our founding in June 2020, we have made significant progress in filling resource and information gaps, hosting State of the Food System events, and advocating for better SNAP benefits information.

We need your help to take our work to the next level!

With your generous donation, we will be able to appoint a full-time Executive Director to manage strategic planning and fund development, as well as create statewide food policy council informational resources. We will also establish a grant program to assist in the development of local-level food policy groups and maintain a network of those groups to track trends and elevate issues to the state level.

We cannot achieve lasting change without the support of our community.

Your donation will help us make systemic improvements to our food system and improve the health and resilience of New Jersey communities.
